Water and tree lighting in landscape lighting

The most common types of garden lighting design are tree lighting and water feature lighting. So how do we design trees and water features?
Tree lighting
When choosing lighting fixtures for trees in gardens, factors such as the shape, size, color, and light intensity of the fixtures need to be considered. For the lighting of trees, lamps such as floodlights or wall washers are usually used to project light onto the leaves and branches of the trees. At the same time, it is necessary to choose the appropriate height and installation position of the lighting fixtures based on the height and shape of the trees to ensure that the light can effectively shine on the trees.
The color of lighting is also one of the factors that need to be considered in lighting design. Different lighting colors can bring different feelings and atmospheres to people. For the lighting of trees, warm toned lights such as yellow or orange are usually used to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. At the same time, different effects can be achieved by adjusting parameters such as brightness and saturation of light colors. In addition, it is necessary to choose the appropriate lighting intensity
WATER FEATURES
Water landscape lighting projects can be roughly divided into four categories: fountains, waterfalls, artificial ponds, and natural water features such as rivers, lakes, and seas.
The lighting design of a fountain should consider the influence of factors such as the nozzle form, water shape, spray height, quantity, and combination pattern of the fountain. Generally, the preferred lighting method for fountain lighting is bottom-up. Waterfall lighting design should first consider whether the water flow is turbulent or gentle. If it is steep or turbulent, a bottom-up lighting method should be chosen; If it is a relatively gentle water flow, it is advisable to install lighting fixtures in front of the water body. The lighting of reflective water features in pools can be arranged by placing lamps at the bottom of the pool or around the pool. If lighting fixtures are arranged at the bottom of the pool, the graphics and materials of the pool bottom or walls are the landscape that the lighting should focus on, and materials with relatively high reflectivity should be used in these areas. Installing lighting fixtures outside the pool can achieve the effect of water surface illumination.
